Why do I get a "Error #80004005" pop-up message when I start OSFX driver?

OSFX.exe creates a temporary file in C:\ when it tries to convert the Phone Book to another format. This error occurs if MS Office is installed and the PC account type user (Limited or Administrator) does not have write access to the C:\ root directory.

There are two ways to address this problem:

  1. Create a new Phone Book (Recommended)
    1. Open OSFX driver > Press "OK" to cancel the error message (#80004005).
