Q: Where do I download the mobile dialer for my iPhone?
A: OneSuite Mobile Dialer for the iPhone is now available on the App Store. Download and install it directly (over the air) on your iPhone or install it through iTunes on your computer.

Q: How do I get the app onto my iPhone?
A: From the App Store on your iPhone, choose search and type in keyword “onesuite.” Tap on the OneSuite Mobile Dialer application, then choose Install.

On your computer, from your iTunes, enter the App Store and search for OneSuite. Download the app on your computer, then sync your iPhone with your iTunes. (Be sure to enable sync on your downloaded apps by checking “Sync Apps” on the Apps tab on your iTunes.)

Q: How long does it take to download the application?
A: If downloading directly over the air (OTA) on your smartphone, download time will vary by your type of connection. If you are connected to a hotspot using Wi-Fi, download and installation may take just a few minutes. If connected via 3G or EDGE, you may experience longer download time (2 or 3x longer than when using Wi-Fi).

If you choose to download to your computer first before performing sync with your smartphone, download time will also vary by your type of connection, but it should not take longer than 10 minutes to download the OneSuite app. Be sure to perform a sync between your device and computer to complete the installation of the app.

Q: How do I set up my dialer? What is Quick Dial Mode?
A: Before you make your initial call, you need to set up your OneSuite Mobile Dialer by following these steps:

  1. Make sure your iPhone app is properly installed and your OneSuite account is active and has sufficient balance to make calls.
  2. Launch your OneSuite Mobile Dialer.
  3. Set up your OneSuite Mobile Dialer by tapping on the “Settings” icon at the lower right hand corner of the app.
  4. Slide Quick Dial Mode to ON. Quick Dial Mode allows you to dial a contact without pressing the call button. In your OneSuite Mobile Dialer, tap on Contact, once a contact is selected, OneSuite Mobile Dialer will automatically dial the number. Setting the Quick Dial Mode to OFF will require you to press the call button after a contact is selected in order to start dialing.
  5. Enter your access number. By default, the OneSuite Mobile Dialer will pre-select a OneSuite U.S. Local Access Number. If you wish to change this to a toll-free number or an international access number (respective rates will apply), just tap on the number and enter your preferred access number. Press “Settings” at the top of the app to return to the previous menu.
  6. Next, enter your Account Number or PIN. Type the complete 14-digit PIN, no periods, spaces or dashes between numbers. Note: If your mobile number is already registered as ZipDial under your OneSuite Account, you must leave the PIN blank.
  7. To make your first call, simply dial the destination number from the app’s dialpad and the call will go through. For U.S. & Canada calls, dial 1 + Area Code + Telephone Number. For international calls (outside the U.S. & Canada) dial 011 + country code + area code + telephone number. If RapiDial is already set up on  your account online, then simply dial the RapiDial number.

The OneSuite Mobile Dialer is also integrated with your iPhone’s phonebook and you may choose the contact you wish to call from the phonebook directly from the OneSuite Mobile Dialer.

For succeeding calls, follow the same dialing procedure above. If you need to change the access number or PIN, be sure to follow all the steps above prior to making another call.

Reminder: The OneSuite Mobile Dialer App will, by default, use your airtime minutes to dial the OneSuite Access Number defined on your smartphone’s app. Be sure to check with your mobile phone provider about airtime rates and other surcharges when calling OneSuite Access Numbers.

Q: How do I use OneSuite Mobile Dialer to call existing contacts in my iPhone?
A: The OneSuite Mobile Dialer integrates with your existing phonebook so you can enjoy ease of navigation and use. To use the dialer in calling your existing contacts, follow these simple steps:

  1. Before making any calls using the integrated phonebook in OneSuite Mobile Dialer, please make sure that the phone numbers registered in your existing phone book are in the following format:
    1. For U.S. & Canada contacts, the phone number should be entered and saved as 1 + Area Code + Telephone Number
    2. For international contacts (outside the U.S. & Canada), the phone number should be typed and saved as 011 + country code + area code + telephone number
  2. From the OneSuite Mobile Dialer’s integrated phonebook, locate the contact you wish to call. Search the contact as you would using your iPhone’s Contacts.
  3. When using OneSuite Mobile dialer, if Quick Dial Mode is ON, tapping on a contact will automatically trigger dialing that number. If Quick Dial Mode is OFF, you must press “CALL” after choosing the contact for OneSuite Mobile Dialer to start dialing the number.
  4. To end a call, simply tap “end”.

Q: How do I remove the app?
A: On the iPhone, tap and hold the app icon for longer than 3 seconds. An “x” should appear next to all the apps on the screen and the icons should “jiggle”, then tap on the “x” to delete the application.

You may also delete an app using iTunes. Simply go to the apps tab of your iTunes, un-check the OneSuite Mobile Dialer, then sync your iPhone with iTunes.
